Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 continually protects the Doylestown community and has just expanded its capabilities by signing a contract to purchase two new fire engines.
The contract to purchase two Enforcer pumpers was signed with Pierce Manufacturing through Glick Fire Equipment on Wednesday, September 26. The new engine purchases are being made for operational and financial purposes, and the overall purchase price was negotiated in such a manner as to save the community almost $100,000.
The new fire engines are expected to be delivered in mid-2019 and, once the new engines are received, two of the older ones will be sold to make room for the new additions.
Congratulations to Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 on the future additions and, as always, thank you for protecting the community!
