Doylestown Community-Wide Yard Sale (Sept. 29)
On Saturday, September 29, peruse the multiple yard sale offerings during the Doylestown Community-Wide Yard Sale. More than 35 households throughout Doylestown will be participating in this community yard sale from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., thanks to the organizational efforts of Doylestown Township Parks and Recreation. Simply view the map online and get ready for some serious shopping on Saturday!
Bicentennial Celebration with Concert and Fireworks in Central Park (Sept. 29)
Later in the day on September 29, join the community at Central Park for the Doylestown Township Bicentennial Celebration. The park opens at 5 p.m., with Bigg Romeo taking the stage at 7 p.m. and fireworks filling the nighttime sky at 9:15 p.m. Throughout the event, attendees can enjoy pay-as-you-go items from Happy Snacks, Jack and Jill Ice Cream, Oink Johnson’s Southern BBQ and more. Parking is $5/car to enjoy an evening of outdoor fun in lovely Central Park.
Pine2Pink Launch (Sept. 30)
Local breast cancer organization, Pine2Pink, will be celebrating its official launch on Sunday, September 30, at 1 p.m., on the lawn at the Mercer Museum, located at Scout Way and Pine Street. The press conference and celebration will officially kick off the Pine2Pink offerings, including a virtual scavenger hunt and a proclamation by the mayor. At night, be sure to stroll through Doylestown as the town will be illuminated in a lovely pink glow.
