This weekend, start celebrating Halloween a few days early by attending the annual Doylestown Spooktacular Parade, hosted by Discover Doylestown, on Saturday, October 27, from 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Kids, ages 2–10, and friendly, socialized dogs are invited to take part in the day’s festivities. Head over to the lawn of the old courthouse on Court Street for day-of registration, beginning at 10 a.m. Then, at 11 a.m., the costume contest judging will unfold, so be sure to come dressed in your best, and most creative, Halloween attire. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded in three categories: kids, pets and family.
After the costume contest, the Spooktacular Parade will unfold. Costumed participants will be led by the famous Doylestown Bike Witches and head down Pine Street, continuing along East State Street and down Main Street.
Once the parade has concluded, children and pets are welcome to trick-or-treat at the participating local businesses around Doylestown.
Online registration is currently open for the Spooktacular Parade, ensuring that you’ll be able to kick off the Halloween festivities right by attending this exciting event on Saturday, October 27!
