Quinoa to Reopen at New Doylestown Location in March

Great news for fans of Quinoa Peruvian and Mexican Restaurant BYO! This popular eatery will be reopening at a new location at 54 East State Street in Doylestown in March.

Those who came to know and love the exceptional Peruvian and Mexican culinary offerings from Quinoa in the past years at their prior location in Doylestown were sad when this fantastic eatery closed back in December. Many were wondering if they would ever taste their favorite culinary dishes from Quinoa again. Fortunately, the answer is yes!

The new location in the center of Doylestown is perfect for catering to the dining crowd of the area and providing a spot to indulge in Mexican and Peruvian culinary delicacies in a central, convenient location. For those who have yet to dine at Quinoa, some of the delicious offerings you’ll soon be able to savor include red snapper tacos, ceviche, enchiladas tres colores, fajitas and the popular Peruvian hot chocolate, to name a few of the tempting menu items.

This BYO establishment enables you to enjoy your favorite adult beverage with your meal, so once the doors open, be sure to bring in your favorite red wine, white wine or other welcome libation.

A new dining spot, Kung Fu Restaurant, recently opened its doors in Doylestown and is already creating quite a buzz with its tempting and delicious Asian cuisine.

Located at 33 North Main Street, Kung Fu Restaurant offers an eclectic menu, ranging from noodle dishes to spicy chicken offerings. Kung Fu Restaurant is known for its popular authentic ramen dishes, created with Cantonese wheat noodles cooked slowly in a bone broth and laden with corn, shitake mushrooms, garden beans, edible seaweed, bean sprouts, scallions, crunchy shallots and hard boiled egg. Ramen lovers can choose from a wide array of proteins to be included with their ramen, such as chicken, shrimp, tofu, beef short rib and pork belly.

Although ramen seekers head to Kung Fu Restaurant to satiate their craving for this flavorful noodle dish, it’s certainly not the only reason the dining crowd visits this fabulous new eatery. Just Announced: Grand Opening for Primp and Play in Doylestown Set for January 26

Primp and Play, a family-friendly spa, will be hosting its grand opening celebration on Saturday, January 26, from 11 a.m.–2p.m., per an announcement made by Primp and Play via social media this evening. The community is invited to enjoy complimentary crafts, temporary tattoos, lemonade, cookies and hand massages!

Located at 325 South Main Street, the soon-to-open spa will provide the ideal spot for the whole family to enjoy spa treatments, including manicures, pedicures, facials, and even chocolate facials for the kids! Central Bucks School District Presents Save the Music 2019: London Calling (Jan. 25–26)

The Central Bucks School District will be presenting its Save the Music 2019: London Calling event on January 25 and 26 to raise money for the VH1 Save the Music Foundation.

In its 16th year, the Save the Music event is a district-wide music collaboration featuring Central Bucks School District musicians in a wide array of mediums, ranging from vocals to string instruments and more. Each year, Central Bucks music staff, students, alumni and friends come together to raise money in support of the VH1 Save the Music Foundation and its multifaceted efforts, an organization which has the following goal/mission in mind:

“At VH1 Save The Music Foundation, we develop strategic partnerships with school districts to build sustainable instrumental music programs by providing grants of brand­-new musical instruments to public elementary and middle schools.  Our goal? To give every child in this country access to a musical instrument.”

This year’s theme will be London Calling and feature a unique mixture of songs from British artists such as The Beatles, George Michael, Adele, Ed Sheeran and more.

There will be three concerts held at Holicong Middle School in support of the Save the Music 2019 event, including Friday, January 25, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, January 26, at 3 p.m., and Saturday, January 26, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are now available online for $7 for students and $13 for adults (plus a small convenience fee).

Proceeds raised during the event will go directly to the VH1 Save the Music Foundation in order to help this wonderful music-centric nonprofit organization achieve its goal of making music opportunities available to all children.
