Support Local Businesses by Attending the 10th Annual Bucks Locavore Event (Feb. 21)

Every year, local businesses and organizations come together in Doylestown for one special evening to showcase their offerings to the crowd during the popular Bucks Locavore event. The 10th Annual Bucks Locavore event will take place on Thursday, February 21, from 5–8 p.m. at Superior Woodcraft, located at 160 North Hamilton Street in Doylestown.

This wonderful event will bring together dozens of local businesses and organizations which will be offering samples, handing out informational materials and being on hand to meet the public and show what each unique entity has to offer to the community. Some of the local businesses and organizations which will be at this year’s event include the following:

The event is free to attend, however, the Bucks Locavore organizers are requesting canned and dry food donations and/or monetary donations for the Bucks County Housing Group and its community food pantries.

Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 to Host Annual Pancake Breakfast on March 16

In March of every year, the Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 hosts its annual pancake breakfast, much to the delight of Doylestown residents and visitors. This fundraising event is a way to raise money for Doylestown Fire Company No. 1, a volunteer organization, and bring the community together for delicious food and fellowship.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 16, from 6:30 a.m.–noon, and consist of a delectable breakfast featuring pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and more. This event is made possible thanks to the Doylestown firefighters, family members and other volunteers who spend the day setting up, cooking, and cleaning after the event is finished.

Tickets will soon be on sale for this not-to-be-missed fundraising event. Save the date of March 16 and enjoy an extraordinary breakfast event in Doylestown while supporting our local fire company at the same time!
