With the unofficial summer season coming to an end, it’s now time to look forward to the fall season and mark special upcoming events on the calendar. One shopping event to make a note of, and be sure to attend, is the 37th Annual Lydia’s Guild Holiday Shopping Event at historic Aldie Mansion, taking place November 4–12.
This shopping extravaganza is held every November with more than 95 local artisan vendors showing their extraordinary products and selling these items to Lydia’s Guild attendees. In addition to attending the Lydia’s Guild Holiday Shopping Event for all of your favorite handmade jewelry, holiday decor, food products, clothing, and more, this shopping event is also a great way to help raise money for a local nonprofit organization.
This year, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Manna on Main Street, a nonprofit organization which is committed to ending hunger in the local area by providing food, tending to social service and education needs, and performing community outreach.
The event hours for this year’s Lydia’s Guild Holiday Shopping Event are as follows:
- Weekdays: 9:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
- Weekends: 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
- November 12 (final day of the event): 9:30 a.m.–3 p.m.
The cost to attend is $4 per person and this admission fee is good for the entire week of the event!
