The Halloween season is an excellent one for parades, cocktail events, and healthy Halloween treat seminars…and Doylestown offers all of these! With a little over a week to go until Halloween, you want to start making a list of Halloween-themed events to attend this year in Doylestown. Here are some options to get you started:
Halloween Party at Hops/Scotch (Oct. 25)
Head to Hops/Scotch on Friday, October 25, from 7 p.m.–midnight for this craft cocktail bar’s Halloween Party. Come in costume to compete for some spectacular prizes from Betty Borden’s House of Whacks and Hunt a Killer as well as a Barr Hill gin gift set. Enjoy live music from Matt Setzer and Sam Ryan and Dave Nonini as well as DJ music in between sets. The event will offer two levels of fun throughout the venue and plenty of pay-as-you-go craft cocktails. The cover charge is $5 per person.
Doylestown Spooktacular Parade and Costume Contest (Oct. 26)
On Saturday, October 26, bring the entire family, including your furry family members, to the Bucks County Administration Building lawn for the annual Spooktacular Parade and Costume Contest. Registration for the contest begins at 10 a.m. and the costume judging will be held at 11 a.m. Prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories, including family/group, kids, and pets. The parade will immediately follow the announcement of the best costume awards.
Healthy Halloween “Treat Your Treaters” Seminar with Doylestown Health (Oct. 30)
Doylestown Health is helping you to create healthy Halloween treats for your trick-or-treaters and family members this year. Register for the free seminar that takes place at Doylestown Hospital from 11:30 a.m.–noon on Wednesday, October 30. If you can’t make it to the event in Conference Room J on October 30, don’t worry, as you can view the information online via webinar access.
Studio 54 Halloween Bash and Costume Contest at M.O.M.’s (Oct. 31)
Maxwell’s on Main (M.O.M.’s) will be hosting its Studio 54 Halloween Bash and Costume Contest on Thursday, October 31. The Halloween fun will run from 9 p.m.–1 a.m. and feature DJ Crambone playing disco hits from the ’70s and ’80s. Be sure to wear your most creative costume and take part in the costume contest during the night, too!
