CB Cares Pumpkinfest, an annual family-friendly fundraiser, returns this year on Saturday, October 19, beginning at 4 p.m.
The event will take place at the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works and feature creative pumpkin carvings by 18 talented carvers to benefit the CB Cares Educational Foundation. Attendees will view the extraordinary pumpkin creations crafted by master carvers and marvel at the Youth Pumpkin Gallery filled with pumpkin carvings by National Art Honor Society students from the three Central Bucks School District high schools.
The pumpkins you’ll find in the Main Pumpkin Gallery have some well-known names attached to them, including Jeff Brown of Food Network’s Halloween Wars and Bri Kozior from MasterChef Season 4. You’ll also find Tim, Kieran, and Ronan Petrosky carving to defend their three-year winning streak for the prestigious Malloy Award. Pumpkins for the 2019 CB Cares Pumpkinfest are provided by Trauger’s Family Farm of Kintnersville.
In between perusing the pumpkin displays, festival-goers can enjoy the following:
- Warm apple cider sipping
- Inflatable amusement garden for the kids
- Rock wall
- Live music by School of Rock and Class Act
- Techno effects by BluTech Events
- And more!
Proceeds from the event will benefit CB Cares Educational Foundation’s programs for students and parents that include innovative learning grants for educators with a focus on STEM, the arts, leadership, career readiness, and student wellness. CB Cares Educational Foundation operates on the mission of promoting resilient and responsible youth.
The cost to attend this fabulous fundraising event is $20 per carload. A rain date of Sunday, October 20, is on the calendar should inclement weather occur.
