Admission is free, and attendance is open to the public and all businesses and media outlets. The Bucks Locavore organizers ask that each guest bring a canned or dry food donation and/or monetary donations for the Bucks County Housing Group so it may supply its community food pantries. Tonight: Bucks Heroes Event at Maxwell’s on Main

Head over to Maxwell’s on Main (M.O.M.’s) in Doylestown tonight, Wednesday, February 5, for the Bucks Heroes fundraiser, an event organized to raise money for the Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation (FBBCF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

From 5–8 p.m., the upstairs level at M.O.M.’s will be filled with members of the Doylestown community gathering together to raise money for the families of fallen and severely injured first responders from the Greater Philadelphia area and South Jersey. Enjoy drinks, raffles, giveaways, and more as you watch guest bartenders serve up sensational cocktails, all for a great cause: to support the Ben to the Shore Bike Tour that raises money for FBBCF.

Guest bartenders of the evening will include Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub, attorney Mike Parlow, former Bucks County Clerk of Courts Mary Smithson, Bucks County Commissioner Diane Marseglia, and former Philadelphia Phillies player Tommy Greene.

20% of all proceeds from bar sales during the fundraiser will go directly to support the Ben to the Shore Bike Tour and ultimately the FBBCF. In addition, 20% of the proceeds from M.O.M.’s takeout orders throughout the day will also go to the organization.
