It’s the first weekend of fall and there’s plenty to see and do in Doylestown to start the season off right. From the weekly Doylestown Farmers Market, filled with all your favorite seasonal fruits and veggies, to the Pedestrian Zone setup on South Main Street, you’re going to want to fill your weekend calendar with as many events as possible.
Here’s what’s happening in Doylestown this weekend:
Pedestrian Zone on South Main Street (September 25-26)
On Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26, from 5-11 p.m., South Main Street, between State Street and Oakland Avenue, will be closed to vehicle traffic to provide an expanded outdoor area for Doylestown residents and visitors to enjoy. Restaurants and shops in that area will be able to offer dining and shopping options to the public in this larger setting. It’s a great time to get out and support local businesses while having a fun time doing so.
Doylestown Farmers Market (September 26)
Visit the Doylestown Farmers Market on Saturday, September 26, for all your favorite farm-fresh produce items and artisan goods. The farmers market will take place on Hamilton Street, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Masks are required, so be sure to grab yours before heading out the door.
Volunteer Cleanup Event at Fonthill Castle (September 26)
If you want to lend a hand to a great cause this weekend, help Fonthill Castle keep its woodlands looking beautiful by taking part in the volunteer cleanup event on Saturday, September 26, from 9 a.m.-noon. Visit the Mercer Museum/Fonthill Castle website to sign up to volunteer.
